The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is a global, consistent, independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, finished textiles and finished products at all stages of production. With their slogan "Confidence in textiles," Oeko-Tex became a worldwide synonym for responsible textile production, safety and transparency. Oeko-Tex certification is a very important step toward reducing the use of hazardous chemicals in the textile industry.

GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard, a standard that not only verifies the presence and amount of organic material in fabrics and tracks the flow of raw materials from source to finished product, but also audits companies to ensure these materials have been processed according to strict standards. GOTS certification applies only to fabrics containing more than 70 percent organic cotton and to companies that are ecologically and socially responsible.
